MotoGP – Assen TT

Big weekend ahead in the Netherlands as the MotoGP circus heads to the Assen TT. We are losing a bit of momentum as the next few rounds continue to be spread over 3 week or longer periods of down time. We’ll see if this gives any one particular rider an advantage. Riders should be pretty fresh and healthy for the second half of the year. The Austrian Round at the Red Bull Ring in mid-August will see things get back to normal with consistent racing every one to two weeks.
The Assen TT has always been one of my particular faves with lots of high speed sweepers and just enough technical challenge for the riders to make things interesting. Don’t forget the volumes of history at the circuit either! It isn’t called “the Cathedral” for nufinck.
The weekend kicks of with the MotoGP Press Conference today at 11am EST.
Have fun!
